Smartphones
Smartphones have enabled the general public to stay constantly connected, or informed, via internet applications and useful programs. Smartphone's incorporation of both cellular phone capabilities and processing capabilities has been combined to create a very user-friendly device. The ability to surf the net, obtain directions, and send messages while on the go may have seemed impossible to users of early desktop computers, however the technology which drives these devices is rapidly expanding. I am very interested to see the "next generation" of handheld products-- like the iPad, which will expand our idea of what a handheld device is capable of.

I too am interested in what the "next generation" of hand held devices will be. I just hope that I will be able to use and understand them easily. I don't want to be like my grandparents generation (though my grandparents are happy without the technology) and not know how to use it. (I like being computer literate and I enjoy these new technologies! :))
